About the game
Lost & Found is a free sorting game with a simple idea and a fast pace. Found items travel along a conveyor belt from left to right. The item closest to the end is circled in yellow. Tap the bin it belongs in and it flies off the belt into the bin. Wait too long and it drops down the chute at the end of the belt.
The game has 12 levels. The first level has two bins and a slow belt. Later levels add more bins, send items more often, put red EVIDENCE stickers on some items, and even move the bins around halfway through.
How to play
- Look at the circled item. It is always the one furthest along the belt. A small label underneath says what it is.
- Find its bin. Each bin on the counter shows its name and small pictures of the items that belong in it.
- Tap the bin. The item jumps into it. The next item along the belt becomes the circled one.
- Watch for red stickers. From level 5, some items carry a red EVIDENCE sticker. Those always go in the Evidence bin, even if they are keys or a teddy bear.
- Finish the level. When every item has been sorted, the level is over. Three mistakes end it early.
What goes where
| Bin | Items |
|---|---|
| Keys | House key, key ring, car key |
| Gadgets | Phone, headphones, watch |
| Bags | Backpack, handbag, wallet |
| Toys | Teddy bear, ball, toy car |
| Clothes | Cap, scarf, glove |
| Evidence | Any item with a red EVIDENCE sticker |
Score and stars
- Points: 100 for each item in the right bin, up to 40 more for sorting it early, plus 5 points for every correct item in a row (up to +50).
- Mistakes: an item in the wrong bin, or an item that drops off the belt, is a mistake.
- Stars: no mistakes gives 3 stars, one mistake 2 stars, two mistakes 1 star. Any finished level unlocks the next.

Tips
- Sticker first, then item. On evidence levels, check for red before you think about the item. It saves the most common mistake.
- Learn the bin positions. On normal levels the bins never move, so after a few items your hand will know where "Gadgets" is.
- Re-read after a shuffle. When the bins wobble and "The bins moved!" appears, read the names again before the next tap.
- You don't have to wait. You can sort the circled item as soon as it appears on the belt. Sorting early earns more points and keeps the belt clear.
- Use the keyboard on a computer. Keys 1 to 5 match the bins from left to right, which is quicker than moving the mouse.
Frequently asked questions
Is Lost & Found free?
Yes. It is completely free to play in any modern browser with no download, account or in-game purchases.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. The bins are big buttons along the bottom of the game, so they are easy to tap. Turning the phone sideways makes the items larger.
Is every level the same each time?
Yes. Each level always sends the same items in the same order, so you can replay a level to beat your score or try for three stars.
Is it suitable for young children?
Yes. It is a gentle sorting game with everyday objects and no violence. The first levels are slow, and the item labels help children who are still learning to read the pictures.
